Bee Happy Recruitment are proud to be working with our prestigious client who are currently seeking a new Restaurant Manager to join their wonderful 2AA Rosette Accredited hotel near Chichester
This position would suit a hands on, passionate individual looking to take responsibility of a fantastic team and produce exceptional service for the hotels guests.
own transport would be beneficial, however live in accommodation can be provided just a short walk from the hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including food production, kitchen management, and customer service.
- Ensure high-quality food and beverage offerings are consistently delivered to guests.
- Manage and train staff members, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve profitability.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and provide training opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a related role would be beneficial.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in computer systems, including point-of-sale software.
